Geiger Solutions

Geiger Solutions is a roof restoration and repair business based in Mackay. The company was established in 2015 and has been serving its local area for more than 70 years. The team includes Brad and Christine as Owner/Directors, Chris as Chief of Operations Onsite Mackay, Stephen as Plumber/Roofer, Quinten as Roofer, and Corben 'Wolfe' as Trade Assistant.

Geiger Solutions provides roofing services for residential and commercial properties. It offers roof restoration, repairs, maintenance, re-screwing, replacement, and guttering services, and offers emergency roofing services. The business services Mackay and surrounding suburbs, as well as Emerald, Clermont, Moranbah, and the Bowen Basin. It handles all work in-house and provides fixed quotes. Free quotes are offered.

Gutter repairs, plumbing call-outs and roof replacement all fall within the work this Mackay company takes on, and customer accounts divide sharply between praise for the trade work itself and frustration with the booking process. Fast attendance at urgent problems comes up often, with a fallen tree damaging guttering and a leaking toilet both resolved swiftly, and Shannon Woods in the office is named for her helpful manner while Brad is thanked for friendly service during on-site visits. Several accounts describe fair pricing relative to the size of the job, efficient completion and solid workmanship, and some note the speed of the response allowed insurance matters and other follow-up to move ahead.

Running against this, the recurring complaint in lower-rated accounts concerns booked appointments, especially quotes, where nobody turned up and no call or message followed. Customers describe waiting weeks for plumbers who never arrived, calls and emails going unanswered, and confusion over scheduled dates that is put down to office communication. For one local builder with decades in the trade, the repeated no-shows and cancellations proved especially galling, leaving the impression of skilled tradespeople let down by scheduling and follow-up.
