Mike's Whirly Birds

Mike's Whirlybirds is a roofing contractor based in Toowoomba that is fully insured. The business has ventilated more than 500 Brisbane roofs. Every installation is completed by Mike personally, with no subcontractors. It services all Brisbane suburbs, including northside, southside, eastside and westside. Fixed-price quotes are provided with no hidden costs.

Services include whirlybird installation and roof vent replacement, covering wind-powered whirly birds and solar-powered roof vents, and a roof ventilation assessment service. Installations are carried out on tiles, metal, or Colorbond roofs. The roof is left clean and tidy after installation. The business responds same day during business hours, with no call centres.

Roof ventilation sits at the centre of what this Toowoomba operator delivers, and the accounts left by customers return again and again to the installation of whirly birds. Customers in several reviews describe a noticeable improvement in airflow through the roof space once the work was finished, with the home feeling more comfortable and temperatures easing almost straight away. Michael, named repeatedly, arrives when he says he will, talks through the process in plain terms and completes the job without fuss. The standard of workmanship is a point that comes up often, with neat, tidy installations and the site left clean afterwards.

Quotes and pricing are described as fair and competitive, and one customer notes photographs taken on the roof so the finished result could be inspected. Communication holds up from the first call through to completion, and the manner of the staff is consistently described as friendly and straightforward. Two older units were replaced at one property, while other accounts cover fresh roof ventilation installs, with the products themselves drawing praise for quality. The airflow gains reported after each job remain the detail customers mention most.
