South Coast Roof Restoration

Scott and Douglas recently renovated the roof of my house, and I could not be happier with their work. Their quote was reasonable, their work was very thorough, they cut no corners, used only the best materials and always explained in great details each step along the way. On top of that they are genuine gentlemen - a real pleasure to deal with. Here is what they did: pressure cleaned the roof, replaced any cracked tiles, repointed all cupping, reinstalled weep-holes, applied two different layers of sealer and two layers of Dulux membrane, all with great diligence and attention to details. At one point they even drove all the way from my home in Horsley (near Dapto) to Prospect (near Blacktown) to get replacement apex caps for my roof. Most probably I missed something as I'm not a roofer but I can confidently say the quality of their work was top-tier. I highly recommend Scott and Douglas. P.S. This review may sound too good to be true to some, but I genuinely think that if we all were as thorough and diligent in our jobs, this world would be a much better place!

It is going to be hard to write this review without it sounding too good to be true but I will try. Firstly, Scott and Douglas are some of the nicest people you will come across. They turned up to quote when they said they would in their trusty old ute. Their quote was the most thorough of all the quotes I received, they repointed every single gable end, ridge cap and any other part of the roof that is cemented (I am not a roofer, I don't know the terms) their thought is even if it hasn't come loose now it will later. This approach to quality just continued throughout the job. They put two coats of undercoat membrane (others only do 1), two coats of colour. All Dulux of course. they took a whole day just to pressure clean the roof (we have a big roof but they wanted to get it perfect) then the next day they noticed a small spot they missed (I had to take their word for it because I couldn't see it) so they got all their equipment out just to do that spot. They never rushed anything, we had some really hot days and some days that threatened wet weather and they didn't just do it to get the job done, they waited for better conditions. In saying that, the job was done in a very timely manner, to an incredible standard. My name is on the review, ask Scott for my details. I would happily show you the roof in person, I am so proud of it and so are 3 of my neighbours who were clamouring to get them to quote for their roofs. I don't blame them. Thanks guys, all the best.

Both Scott and Doug did a fantastic job on our roof, they were very professional and didn’t cut corners - I highly recommend them for a top quality job!

Scott & Douglas did a great job restoring our old tile roof to match the new extension. Great attention to detail, nothing was rushed, explained everything as they went leading to a great end result. Lots of comments from neighbours on how good it looks. Thanks..!!
