Townsville Whirlybirds is a family owned and locally run business. Installation is performed by a qualified and licensed roof plumber. The company supplies and installs roof ventilation solutions, including solar vents, for homes and businesses. It offers repairs and servicing of traditional whirlybirds and solar roof vents. The company handles complete supply and installation of ventilation options.

Townsville Whirlybirds draws consistent praise for the work of Steve, the named operator who features throughout customer accounts. Reviewers repeatedly highlight his responsiveness, with messages returned quickly and jobs often assessed on the same day a problem is reported. Roof ventilation is the core of the work described, including solar and traditional whirlybirds fitted to houses, sheds and Queenslander-style homes, often in pairs, and correctly matched to existing roofing. The results are described in practical terms: squeaking after cyclones and storms resolved, and a noticeable reduction in household heat.

Various customers describe clear quotes provided before work begins, along with useful advice on the right ventilation setup for their situation. Fair pricing comes up as a recurring point, as does the speed of installation once units are available. Tidiness, punctuality and follow-through also feature, with the operator doing what was promised and communicating well before and after each job. When a repair fell outside his expertise, one customer notes he pointed them towards appropriate tradespeople rather than leaving the matter unresolved. Customers on Magnetic Island and the surrounding district describe whirlybird supply and installation as the practical service that keeps them returning.
